Well, just the two winners yesterday, a bit down on our usual strike rate, but did include the $21 shot Daumier, plus the unbeaten Marabi who keeps getting better and better, a superstar in the making surely…
Texas Tea ran second, providing a $10 placing for us for the second day running, with Tycoon Halle and Desert Icon also placing second, the latter denying us the qadi, unable to hang on, after fielding the first leg ($13) and including Daumier in the second leg, and the anchor Marabi in the third. Paid around $1300, and I would have had $2 worth of it, dammit!
Anyway, nice to know our pursuit of high-priced winners for you continues to throw up these results!
Speaking of high-priced runners, we only have one from the book today, and he’s one of the original blackbookers…

Race 7: WESTERN KING last won almost a year ago, when he got up at Albany for us at $13. He’s been up and down in grade and over ground, but this seems to be his fav distance. Hard to say with any confidence that he’ll win, especially at the $61 on offer, so don’t sell the farm…
BET: 2 units ew, could spice up the exotics…
