Couple of winners yesterday, but not much to be made, though it was exhilarating watching Yonce and Zaaki win their races, couple of real stars there. A couple of placings made up an ordinary day out…

Race 5: And we kick off with a bit of a conundrum here with both JOHNY JOHNYÂ and GOSPODINÂ contesting this one… JJ was impressive leading all the way at Ellerslie two weeks ago for his fourth win in six runs, and will rightly run fav today at around $2.50. Up in class but down in the weights. Gospodin racked up six wins, one of them a $16 shot, before running sixth at Matamata and heading for the paddock for 5 months. Chance at $7.

Race 7: EDITÂ caught the eye with a tremendous last-to-first burst to win by 2 lengths at Tamworth in September. Went up in grade to run behind Eduardo next up, then went for a 5 month spell. Has trialled three times for a sixth, third and a win, good first up stats, and can deliver on his return as fav, $3.80 on offer…

PINJARRA
Race 1: MISS INTENTION doesn’t have much of a formline, but was noted finishing from the back for a close second in October. Another one returning after spell, look for her late, $15 on offer
