Squeezed a couple of winners out of yesterday at Te Rapa, with Tightlign ($4.30) and Two Illicit ($1.70).
Our Best Bet Harleymoven just couldn’t quite overhaul the eventual winner, but our Best Roughie Star of Chaos ran his usual honest race, running third at $2.80.
Also had three close-up fourths…

WINGATUI
Race 3: I’M A TIGER will need to lift on previous recent runs. Won on debut but has only added four placings, in his next 22 runs… Gets Tina onboard which might help, but it’s a small ew bet for me at $10…

Race 4: GIVEHERAGO has been tough since going in the book in late Jan. with a win and three placings for us since… On-pacer, home track, should win at $3.50 or so…

NORTHAM
Race 1: ALLEGIANCE is racing consistently, and this is her ideal chance to clear maidens in this small field at around $2.20.

Race 8: BLAZING TYCOON is making us wait… Not a fan of this jockey, as I thought she butchered the horse at Northam in December, when he had every chance to win. Mind you, the change of jockey last time resulted in a dead last run, maybe we’ll give her another chance today… $26 on offer…

DEVONPORT
Race 8: GREGORIAN CHANT spaces the wins out, but you’d think she holds too many cards for this small field. Should be winning this really at around $5…
