Big returns!!
Just missed on our target of five winners by one for you yesterday, but boy, what winners they were!
Bet of The Day Pearl of Alsace (5 units ew, exotics) provided a thrilling win in a blanket finish at $4.50/$2.00, with Aromatic providing a $19.60 quinella and the trifecta paying $671.
Earlier, Ess Vee Are (5 units ew) got up at $6.70/$2.40, while Mariamia (3 units ew) getting up to stun the fav in the Galaxy at a very nice $10.20/$3.00, and Zou Zou Kacanarkis (5 units ew) rounding off a stunning day at $12.40/$3.00 despite a huge drift.
Shamus got done by the shortest margin to run second, while Not Guilty (3 units ew) made third at $1.60, Eagelou ran second at $1.40, as did Russian Dancer, Blazing Tycoon ran third at $2.60.
Add to that our little pocket-rocket The Inevitable (3 units ew), who sped home for third paying a massive $5.60 the place.
Fourths for Fetch, Don Corleone, Testify Me, Tightlign and Allusionist.
Overall a win strike rate of 10%, a return rate of 27.5%, with 40% making the first four, and some nice exotic returns… Phew!

SV was noted in August with a huge finish from dead last to win before running down the field at BM64. Has rested for 6 months and is back today as a $4.60 shot, has placed first up previously. GOTL has won at odds for us previously, and possesses a wicked finish when she’s in the mood, don’t dismiss, watch for her late in this at $26.
