Five winners and five places, ten fourths!
A very rewarding day on the punt yesterday for us, with five winners, three seconds, two thirds and an extraordinary 10 fourths from our 29 tips!
That gave us a winning strike rate of 17.2%, with 31% of our tips making the frame, and a whopping 65.6% in the first four… Let’s go through them…
We knew Ess Vee Are (10 unit win) would benefit with the addition of Opie, and we rolled in at $3.70.
Barber (8 unit win) similarly benefited from the presence of Ms Kah to win at $4.10.
Next was Exploring (2 units ew, exotics), who got up at a very tasty $14.70/$4.00, and if you snagged the trifecta, that paid a very nice $3464!
We loved the chances of En Francais (10 unit win), never out of the frame in eight runs (make that nine now) as he panelled them in the straight and win at $3.
And a long wait both yesterday and this prep, for Tadweer (5 units ew) to get up for us again as he closed the day for us at $4.50/$1.70.
Places included Cythera (3 units ew, $3.90), Titanium Power ($1.90), Remedies ($2.10), and Amberecho ($1.60).

Chasing a five-timer, The Inevitable owes us nothing, and look set to win again, albeit at odds-on. Ran in some top races on the mainland couple of years back, and it’s hard to go past this little pocket rocket. Sell the farm. Sir Simon has been going well this prep, but this is a step up. $17 means you can have a small go EW…

Got up for us three back under this jockey at a crazy $41 and went to the paddock shortly after. Jockey has ridden him in two trials in prep for his return, and he has won first up, so he’s worth a small punt here at $11 in the small field…

Been going round at big odds recently, but the second at $31 two back, in this grade, gives me a gut feeling that she can reward us some point soon… $26 on offer, worth an EW shot in a very open betting race…

Has rewarded us on occasion, but hard to catch… watch for him late in this small field at $6.

He hops back up to BM66 today (where he’s won before) after two very close seconds when well-backed, one of them under today’s jock. Hot $2 fav in this, and Bullock can kick him home here if he gets him up on the pace in this dash for cash…
