Open event, Badgeringdawitness has been in fine form and must be a great value ew bet at $10 with Hazel up top. Takeiteasy has been a bit out of sorts the last two, will need to improve to figure.

Great chance on resumption after a 3 month break, has only missed the frame once in eight runs and will go round as even money fav. Wins, surely…

Very capable on her day and is second up after the heavy ground didn’t suit at Awapuni two weeks ago. Chance at $10.

Ran a nice third at SP $13 for us at Waverley after a two month spell a month ago, well-placed to figure in this as joint-fav at around $5

Drops back in class after running ninth in Open grade last time out. Previously won three out of four for us, including a $21 win at Awapuni. Real EW chance at $5.50 in an open betting event.

Establishment had won two in a row for us prior to failing at Waverley and is capable of bouncing back here at $7.50

ER is poised to step back into the winner’s circle in a race more suited to her style, and $7.50 appeals. CM’ s form hard to fault in her short career, value at $13.

We’ve got three out the first four favs in this, plus a real roughie, so exotics in mind here. Leaning to Desert Icon though ($6.50) late scratching at the barrier last week and can make amends here…

In good form this prep and drops back in grade to where she’s won two recently. Good stats, ew bet at $7.50

Gonna give her a shot in this at $18, has run well here previously and has good first up stats.

FESTIVAL PRINCE, ABB ROY

FP bounced back to his best three weeks ago at Dalby for us, and though unproven on heavy, can win again here, $3.20 on offer… The old girl Abb Roy is on her 113th race and has run two thirds and a second in here last three, always capable of a surprise, so chuck her in at $51.
