Strange day of racing, not a lot of the big names on parade today, but, hey, there’s a winner in every race. Also, we have nine of our blackbookers scratched, so let’s see what’s left..

Race 1: LOOX LIKE A PRO was prominent last time out but faded from the turn. Pulled up with some issues but is ready to bounce back here today, backable ew at $5…

AVONDALE
Race 7: OSELETA was huge from the back in October for the win, and has since run in Listed and G3 grades reasonably well. Back to the grade he’s won at previously, getting Sam onboard will do him no harm at all. The $6 makes him a sound ew bet.

Race 9: GYPSY GODDESS has been set for this, comes in with strong form and super stats, ew odds available at $4.40/$2.10

Race 2: Watch for MARKWELL DREAMER late, hopefully he’s not too far back in the run as he comes back to 1100m today, can get in the frame at $12

Race 10: OXFORD TYCOON jumps in grade, but has been struggling, interest bet only…

FLEMINGTON
Race 7: MANHATTAN FORCE is lightly raced, won like a good ‘un on debut and has run at big odds since, $81 on offer at the mo, so an interest bet and possible exotics…

Race 9: PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE looks top notch, and will be hard to peg back here.

MORPHETTVILLE
Race 7: PLATFORM is lightly raced Kiwi, has won 2 out of 5 and been close up the others. Resumes after a long spell, has been gelded, and debuts in Aus. Big watch on him, at $18, he’s my BEST ROUGHIE

Race 8: TWIST OF FURY was noted was noted in July with a great win from the front, them backed up for us with a $9 win beating Snapper next time out. Has certainly run up in grade since, and she’s at her fav distance and going today, so don’t discount at $7…

Race 8: FENGARADA has his hoof on the till, drops back significantly in class and can win this at $4.20.

TOOWOOMBA
Race 3: FESTIVAL PRINCE drops in grade and is back up to his fav distance, track and jockey, where’s he’s unbeaten at all… Will go close at $2.80
