Just the one winner yesterday, but what a great ride from Cahill. He had ex-Kiwi WHEELS well back on the fence at Ipswich, and took the short way home, living up to her name and showing some great wheels!

Race 9: WHEELS is ex-NZ, and was noted on her Aussie debut last August with a big run for second after her one win at Otaki. Did nothing on resumption last month but has since won a trial. Won over this t&d in October, and the drop in grade should suit. $6.50 on offer.

Race 10: AERO DE PARIS hasn’t missed the frame in five runs here, has won twice third up, and looks to be building to a win after a second and a third this prep. $2.70 fav, he’s got his hoof on the till!!

Race 5: RUDHYAR got up for us at Sandown 10 days ago, steps up in grade and retains Ms Kah. Can go on with it as $3.70 fav.

Race 8: SMOKIN’ ROMANS is around the same price on resumption, nice stats for this, unbeaten here.

Race 9: HELLO BROADCAST finally fulfilled some promise for us last time out, steaming home for a $21 win. Will need to be good to knock off the fav in a tough race to end the card, but ew at $9.50 is the call.

ROSEHILL
Race 8: CROSSTALK is a beast, spanked ‘em by 4 lengths last time out and can reverse the loss to Jojo today. BEST BET at $3.30
BET: 10 unit win
Race 10: TITANIUM POWER ran second to him last time out, and is very honest. Hasn’t won on heavy but surely finishes in the frame here at $5/$2

TOWNSVILLE
Race 7: PALENCIA and BOLD TYPE are on a nine day back-up, having both raced here but in different races. Both sport good stats for this, but I’m edging Palencia’s way, and they’ll both need to be at their best to get past Family Star, who also has an outstanding record.
BET: 8 unit win Palencia, Bold Type 4 units ew, these three should fill out the trifecta so box ‘em up!

Race 7: This is a long shot, but I can’t believe BEL ACADEMY is a $101 shot (bet365). This lad is very quick, runs all his races from the front, and only buckled in the last 75m on resumption. Is actually back in grade today, and while he’d prefer a bit of give in the ground, he’s does get Tegan Harrison onboard, and if he gave give them the slip on the bend, he can win this at amazing odds. If we pull this one off, I’ll be doing some shouting!! BEST ROUGHIE
