OK, some mixed success yesterday…
Loox Like a Pro got away to her usual slow start, but by the time they hit the final bend, she was through on the inside and looking likely, only to run out of puff in the last 100m, but did hang on for third at $2.50. She’ll get there at some point for us…
Obviously something went amiss with Kusuda in the next race, she dropped out midway and pulled up with some issue, hopefully something minor.
Placings for Tidal Rush (2nd, $1.80) and thirds for Morean ($1.90) and Magnetic Prince ($1.90), but we saved the best till last with Ahooshu absolutely dominating them to win pulling up by nearly 4 lengths. and 10.5kg drops in the weights certainly working in his favour, even though he drifted out to $3.20. Nice saver…

Race 8: TUVALU was huge beating our Visinari last time out. Has the stats and the credentials as $2.90 fav. BEST BET

Race 7: ALTERNO produced an astonishing burst at Northam on resumption three weeks ago at big odds to get up for the win. Up in grade here, but if he’s progressed, then he’s a shot at $19. BEST ROUGHIE

HASTINGS
Race 4: LADIES MAN keeps the in-form Lisa up top in what looks like a two horse go in this. Close but I think he wins…
BET: 10 unit win, squat quinella with Encierro 10 units
ROSEHILL
Race 1: DEVINE MISS hasn’t missed a win or place in seven runs, won a recent trial, good value at $9.
BET: 5 units ew
Race 2: BULLET WING was a drifter on debut but cruised in on his home track at Wyong. Quick step up in grade but will have taken benefit from the run, chance in a small field at $10.
BET: 5 unit win
Race 6: AND WE DANCED drops back to the BM72 and up to the 1500m, should suit her today. Backable ew at $5/$2
BET: 4 units ew
Race 10: TITANIUM POWER has progressed every run this time in, won for us here two weeks back at $7.50, great chance again, nice stats at $4.20.
BET: 5 units ew, if the money comes, 10 unit win

Race 2: This is a toughie, some good animals in this one, we have EDIT and FESTIVAL PRINCE in this, both around $9, and I just prefer the latter.
