Race 1: VASMEE and AKECHETA contest this one, and strangely enough, they’re my Best Bet and Best Roughie of the day… Vasmee so impressive last time out, he’s even backable ew now if you want some insurance at $4.20/$2. Akecheta drops back in class on his return from 4 months in the paddock, very capable of making a place here at $23, include both in exotics.
BET: Vasmee 5 units ew, Ak 2 units ew, exotics
Race 5: SCISSOR STEP returned with a nicely timed run to win, very good stats for us, unbeaten second up, $3.30 on offer.
BET: 8 units win
Race 9: GENERAL BEAU is a consistent sort, ran third for us last time at SP $61, not far off September Run at the Valley. Drops significantly in class here in the get-out, and will need to get past a good fav, but looks a cert for a place at $7…

PUKEKOHE
Race 7: SAMIAM SUESSIE is up in class but consistent, surely runs a place at least today at around $11.
BET: 3 units ew
RICCARTON
Race 5: CHOKITO was too bad to be true last time out, can bounce back today at $12.

Race 8: REPUTABELLE has been impressive, couldn’t back against her, $2.50
BET: 10 unit win
Race 10: CAPO DEL IMPERO was a close second last time out, will run close to fav at $5.

MORPHETTVILLE
Race 1: VARDANI can bounce back here at $4.40 in a small field, previous form was good.
BET: 5 unit win
Race 4: SMOKIN’ VAL went round at big odds last time here at $21, and finished just 3 lengths behind Lombardo. Nice stats for those, and though she’s only won two, she can go close here at $8.50…
