Tezoff maintained his good form with a third at $5.50 the place, and Russley Crown just got bobbed on the line to run second at $2.30.
June Bug ran a much improved race at big odds, and was right there until the last 100, finishing fourth.
And Ahooshu ran out of steam to finish fourth at SP $8.

Race 1: FLAG OF HONOUR was heavily backed on debut despite poor trail form, flopped out the gates third last but bolted home for the win. $4.80/$1.80 makes him backable ew.

Race 5: FRANCESCO GUARDI was gritty winning at Randwick last time out. Chasing the hattrick and more than capable of doing it in a close betting race. $3 on offer

Race 8: MAKTASTIC dropped back to the mile last time in an ordinary run but is better than that, came bounce back under Mott at $5.50

Race 9: MOREAN is always thereabouts, and looks ready to strike in this as the $2.60 fav. Back up to fav distance, she should go in today.

Race 5: MORMAIRE is another consistent sort, will need to get past a good fav, but at $5/$2 is another backable ew
