Race 3: GENERAL BEAU probably needed the run first up a couple of weeks back, no disgrace in getting done by Marabi, was only 3.6 lengths of… This easier, and he sports great stats for this, very backable ew at the mo at around $5/$2…

Race 5: LOST AND RUNNING and MASKED CRUSADER contest this one, and I prefer the former horse in this, along with Home Affairs. It’s a competitive field, with the like of Quantico, Snapdancer and the NZer Levante, but I feel the winner comes from the top two in betting in LAR and HA.
BET: You can just about back LAR 5 units ew at $4/$1.95, 10 unit quinella with HA. MC 2 units ew, mix up your exotics!
Race 7: You won’t get many $71 tips on these tipping sites, but here’s one today in the former HK galloper HO HO KHAN. Tried to lug 61kgs round Launceston last time out but couldn’t overhaul the winner. Obviously his toughest test to date, but he has won a Group 3 and a BM-100, watch for him late…

Race 4: JALMARI was spotted last month bolting home from the back to win at Nowra at $31. Almost repeated the dose two weeks ago at Canberra, running second at the same SP. Small field, and up in class today, rank outsider at $61, small win bet…

Race 7: MOUNT POPA’s early career stats are magnificent, but he didn’t quite carry them on in the higher grades at G1 levels. Drops back in class here, and is back to his fav distance on a heavy track, something he relishes. Pikey onboard, he can win this at $3.

Race 2: FORTIFIED is closing in on a win, he’s been finishing his races off well and was only a head away last week at the Sunny Coast. Stats look good for this, he’ll run fav today at $2.50.
