TE RAPA
Race 5: RIDGEVIEW CHIEF is a fine form, won for us here last month at $8.50, then ran third at Tauranga. Yet to place here but good distance stats, chance at $8.
BET: 3 units ew
Race 8: SAMIAM SEUSSIE followed up two promising fourths with a win for us at Trentham last month, up, in grade but she’s a chance to go on with it now at $4.
BET: 5 unit win
RICCARTON
Race 4: CHOKITO dominated last time out, getting up at $6.50 for us, must go in again today, fav at $2.10 at the mo.
BET: 10 unit win
Race 8: SOUTHERN OCEAN started his career in fine style, only missing first or second once in nine runs. Not so great this prep, and would prefer better footing, but can place here at $5.
BET: 3 units ew
CAULFIELD
Race 2: DECENT RAINE is in fine form, got up for us at $4 at Flem last time, must go again at around $3.
BET: 10 unit win
Race 3: DAUMIER, COUNTTHEHEADLIGHTS and PHILOSOPHER all feature here in a tremendous race, which also features Jacquinot, who’ll run as fav and looks the likely winner.
BET: Can back our three selections ew, but probably better to box up with fav in the trifecta.
Race 7: EXTREME FLIGHT rattled up three in a row before failing at Flem. Back from 3 months in the paddock, might be a touch sharp for him first up, but an ew shot at $13…
BET: 3 units ew
Race 8: I’M THUNDERSTRUCK finished his last prep with 3 out of 4 wins, back today after a 3 month spell, and has all the stats you want. Sinawann is the danger as fav, second only to the amazing Marabi last time out. Lots of talent in this field…
BET: 5 units ew
Race 9: MARIAMIA also ran behind Marabi last time out, won by 7 lengths back in November but has been racing up in grade since. Rank outsider in this small field, small win wager at $19.
BET: 2 unit win
RANDWICK
Race 3: FORTIFIED is on the improve and looks primed third up. JMac sticks for Waller, definite ew chance at $6.50.
BET: 3 units ew
DOOMBEN
Race 2: TAMILAIDE disappointed as fav last time out, but previous form was solid. Will have to reverse result with Indian Dreamer, so a conservative win wager at $2.60.
BET: 4 unit win
Race 7: ENTERPRISE POMME won well on debut and has been close up in subsequent runs. Back after a 4 month spell and can run a good race here at $3.70.
BET: 5 unit win
MORPHETTVILLE
Race 8: EFFORTKAT noted winning in style in November ad did the trick again for us last month at $4.50. The $13 looks generous…

Race 9: YOUNG JIMMY is going through the grades nicely, hard to knock three in a row, good chance at $11.
BET: 3 units ew
GRAFTON
Race 5: TAIKUN TOMMY was huge from near-last 11 days ago here, moves up in grade but a great chance again at $8.
BET: 3 units ew
Race 6: ULTIMATE MAN got up for us last time at $6, hasn’t missed the frame in seven runs, and while this is tougher, he’s a show at $3.90
BET: 6 unit win
Race 8: FAR TOO EASY has great stats for this, drops in class and unbeaten here, must go in at $2.20.
BET: 10 unit win
ASCOT
Race 3: MOMBASA noted winning well in Nov then went for a spell. Finished last on re-appearing last month, ew shot today at $31.
BET: 2 units ew
NEWCASTLE
Race 7: FANTASY EAGLE bowled in for us 3 weeks back, likes this distance and ground, looks value at $12…
BET: 3 units ew
TOOWOOMBA
Race 5: LONADO has been running on last two runs, got up for second for us at SP $10 last time, ready for this trip now, will run fav at around $2.30
BET: 6 unit win
Race 6: PAINTED BLACK fought back well for a gritty win in late December, has since trialled for a win and is in with a shot in this small field at $2.90
BET: 5 unit win, 10 unit quinella with fav.
