Race 7: ZIAVERA finished well from the back three weeks back but couldn’t overhaul the winner after being posted wide all the way. Drawn poorly again, but she’s getting fitter, and is a definite chance today as $3.20 fav.

Race 3: AUSSIE TYCOON keeps backing up her runs quickly, and has been in triple figures the last two. With only two wins from 85 runs, it’s hard to tip her for the win, but watch for her late… $26 on offer…

Race 4: BLUE JACKET has been ultra-consistent (8:2-4) but ran last at Rocky on resumption in higher grade than this 10 days ago, incurring a small injury in the run. He’ll need to be quick out of the traps today over the 800m dash for cash, does get Brad Pengelly onboard, and looks like jumping as fav at $4.60 in an open betting event.
