Couple more nice winners…

Not just a case of Bank Bank Bank yesterday, as much as Spank Spank Spank, as he simply creamed them down the straight to win by an easy 2.75 lengths at $1.30, if you took him earlier, you’d have got $1.70 (10 unit win). Too easy…

Tidal Rush (6 unit win) executed a similar win by the same margin, getting up for us at $2.90.

Native Blue faded into third after looking likely for a long way, but Devil Race (2 units ew) returned to form with a second at $4.20 the place.

Not sure what Kozzi was thinking of as he had Savvy Man 12 lengths out the back at the turn, as he flew home to finish less than 2 lengths from the winner, while Telling Tales just missed a place with a good finish.

Still, it threw a few more bucks into the account as we look ahead to just three meetings today ahead of tomorrow’s huge card of meetings on Melbourne Cup Day.

One last chance for a top up, just the two today… but there’ll be plenty tomorrow!!

Would be fair to say we’ve been waiting for this fella to pick up after watching him win from the front back in Feb this year, then follow that up for us in March with a $26 win at the Bool.. Then ran next to last before a spell, then ran two last placings recently after another spell. Just two wins in eleven, but gets the winning jockey up top, might be his day, $26 on offer, generally on the pace, and 2100m is a long way to lead all the way and win, but he’s done it before… First time on the AWT track.
