Race 6: BURITZ was spruiked by the trainer on 1st April and won as she liked, worth following today at $6.

Race 8: JAFFASTOCK and PEPPER’S GHOST contest the get-out here. The former was impressive winning two in a row before jumping in grade at Mornington and finishing well back. Worth another shot at $10 though as Olly jumps on… PG also won two on the spin last prep before a 6 month spell, came back to finish dead last of 15 at Bendigo over clearly too short a trip. Hops up to more familiar ground today, but also up in grade. Has good second up stats, but will run as rank outsider at $34.

Race 2: FIENDISH has done everything but win for us, and has his hoof on the till. Possesses a very good finish and this is his day to clear maidens, the $1.25 makes him a beat-the-banker bet…
