Race 3: MIRROR ONE was spruiked on return last month, and ran an even race. Gets G Buckley onboard and looks real value in this at $3.

Race 5: FANTASY EAGLE has had two runs back after a6 month break, needing both runs after finishing his previous campaign with a first and a second. Gets his fav jock back onboard and actually belies his latest form with a good strike right. Won’t mind the heavy going, and he’s a sleeper today at $14.

Race 7: Now this is a curious one… I put NEW MAJOR in the book back in Sept 2019 when he won his maiden on debut at Wangaratta. He won again for us four months later then went to the paddock. Two runs back and he did nothing, then went on a further 19 month sabbatical. Pops up today at $34, pay to keep him safe with a small investment…

Race 7: FOX SPIRIT is a similar boat to Fantasy Eagle in the get-out here, two runs back after a break but shown nothing, her only glimpse of form being a win at Gilgandra in July over a 800m dash, so it’s hard to make a real case for her, so it’s a small interest bet today, include in exotics though at $51…
