CANTERBURY
Race 4: Two from the book in this one, TWICE ON SUNDAY and CLEAR BLONDE. As mentioned last time just 9 days ago, TOS produced a huge burst of speed to get up at Orange three weeks ago (see link again), then dropped in grade only puzzlingly to run fifth at Gosford. Prepared to forgive that run and give her another shot today at $4.40. CB ran at huge odds at Warwick Farm last time out, and was fancied (by us) for a place in that event after previously being blocked for a run when threatening. $18 mark today.
BET: 5 unit win TOS, 2 units ew CB. Include both in exotics.
Race 6: REMUS has run a few of decent races at Randwick since resuming since jumping up in grade, jumps in distance today and his race pattern suggests this could work in his favour. Close betting race, he’s around the $3.60 mark

CRANBOURNE
Race 5: NUMPTY ran a solid close second for us two weeks back (see link) at an SP of $12, and Zac Spain sticks today. They’ve got her out at the $9.50 mark in this small field, which could be value…

Race 7: THE INEVITABLE did the job for us here three weeks back and has the stats to go in again, mind you, there’s a couple more sporting good stats in this one, but banking on his class to see him home in this one, albeit at short odds…

Race 8: FULL KNOTS AHEAD bolted in here a week ago by 8 lengths, and while she jumps up to Open grade today, the manner of the win suggest she can go close again, if she can get past the fav. $4 at the mo…

PORT MACQUARIE
Race 5: COOL MISSILE drops back to her fav distance on a track where she’s 3:2-0, just missing a placing here a week ago. Back a touch in grade, can get in the frame today at $6.50
BET: 3 units ew
