Race 7: FREE SPIRIT. Running a little behind schedule today, so just popping this first one out as a general tip as it’s off in 15 mins at Otaki. FREE SPIRIT was spruiked back in December and won well here. Resuming after a 3 month spell, and this may be a bit short for this local, but a chance on this heavy ground at $31!

Race 7: PALENCIA really has his hoof on the till, three close placing this time in, and has only missed placings once in 8 runs. Too good today at $2.50, goes in…

Race 10: BOLD TYPE went into the book nearly 2 years make with a massive surge to win. Best ridden off the front though, and he could give them something to catch off an inside draw. Good stats for this at $8…

Race 5: MAKTASTIC took 14 goes to win, but now he’s got the idea, he can go on with it. Up in distance, he’ll be descending on these late on… $5.50/$1.90

Race 7: HELLO BROADCAST is ex-GB and ex-HK, and won his first two. Been racing in better than this and finished second at this t&d three back. Had a break, and has won first up. $7.50 on offer…

Race 8: I thought GORUSH LIGHTNING hung in well for second at SP $31 last time out, so I wouldn’t totally discard him at $41 today.

Race 6: STAREMM got up for second on here resumption here, and has won second up. Gets back but is capable of a big finish… Chance at $9 in this small field…
