Then the final race at Gatton abandoned, so three of our picks denied a run…
That left is with three, Supido Beauty (10 unit win) returning to a right-handed track and timing her run to perfection, swooping in late after being last on the bend to win at $2.20.

Avalene wasn’t far off on resuming at Otaki, and gets the in-form Warren Kennedy onboard. Win chance at $4.50, doesn’t want it too soft… Gnasher has been out of form for a while, and an outsider’s chance only at $9.

CAPITAL GIRL
Sunshine Coast, 2
Flew home to break maidens last month at Ipswich, then ran a close fifth there again two weeks later. EW chance here at $5.50.

Resumes today after a five month lay-off as $10 second fav in a betting market dominated by the fav. EW chance in this.

Got up on resumption for us at nice odds after some promising runs prior. $6 shot in this at his fav distance

Denied a run in the week after an abandoned race, she gets a chance here after winning for us two back at odds. $8.50 here.

Mixes his runs a bit but has reasonable place stats. $14 outsider in this small field.

Won her first three, but another one mixing her form. EW here as a $14 shot…

JET JITSU, MINGORA
Stawell Racing Club, 5
JJ has been in grand form for us, including a $31 win in August. Hopped up in grade at Flemington and wasn’t far off at big odds. Watch for him late. Mingora resumed from a brief spell with a close third at the Bool, and is another that’ll be steaming home late. Both around the $5 mark.

NUMPTY
Stawell Racing Club, 7
Finally got up for her second win since winning on debut late in November, then ran fourth up in grade. Back to BM58 today, $7.50 on offer.

ZIAVERA
Hobart, 3
Has just plugged up in class since winning two in a row back in June/July. Needs to lift as a $23 shot here.

CORNELIAN BAY
Hobart, 6
Went in the book with an impressive debut win, then ran a very close fourth 2 weeks later without any luck, then came out and won again late in November. Expected a better result on his last run, and he steps up in grade and distance again here against some big hitters in the Tazzy Guineas, hence the $51.
