Second up today, he threatened for a long way on resumption at Bendigo. Goes well on heavy, has won on this track and likes the distance. Fitter today, he’s a shot at $6

She resumes today after a 4 month spell, and has good stats for this, won 2 from 3 here and is 2/2 at the T&D. Good first up record, doesn’t want it too soft but gets Whiteley today and rates a chance in this at $9.50.

On the 5 day back-up, watched her boom home at Ballina on Monday to win by 4 lengths, and while up in class, she can handle these. Benny Looker sticks, having been on for the last three in this mare’s change up in form, and now she’s got the idea, she’ll be very hard to hold out as $2.20 fav.

He’s also struck some recent good form, with a win and a third at this grade in the past two, only missing out late last time after leading. The drop back to 1000m will do no harm, and he’s a threat at $3.80 in a close betting race…
