MOONEE VALLEY
Race 5: ISLAND EDITION is on the 7 day back-up, and was marked as a next-timer. Got caught on the fence here when poised to make his bid and finished up a close last of four. Benny Allen sticks, but he’d better be up there on the pace to get the better of this smart fav at $8.50.
BET: 5 unit win
Race 7: JOLTIN’ JOE finished on late as usual to get to third for us at SP $9, and has a good record of placing here at The Valley. Again, he needs to be a bit closer in the run but is a shot at $8.50.
BET: 4 units ew
ROCKHAMPTON
Race 2: AUSSIE TYCOONÂ ran a $7.50 third for us last week and is generally not too far away. EW shot again at $15/$4…
BET: 3 units ew
Race 3: TEZOFF
has a good record here (11:4-3) and as an on-pacer he’s right in this back to this grade. Needed the run on resumption after 4 months off and can get past the hotpot fav in this small field at $6.
BET: 5 unit win
Race 6: ORNATEÂ is another with a good record, got up here for us in December at $8, and also down in class here, will run fav at $3.
BET: 5 unit win
ARARAT
Race 6: AEECEE DOLCEÂ drops from city grade for this today and has been knocking on the door for us since her back-to-front win in May. Certainly gets her chance to win today as fav, $3 on offer…
BET: 10 unit win
SUNSHINE COAST
Race 4: FORTIFIED is making us wait for the next pick-up after good wins in May and September. Waller has Orman onboard, who’s won three times on the gelding, and he gets his chance today in this small field at $4.
BET: 4 unit win
