Impressive on Boxing Day with a last to first win at odds to break her maiden,then wasn’t too far off up to the BM64 at Kembla. Will go round a $2.5o fav back to BM58 here and will again be steaming home late.

Rockhampton, 3
He impressed winning three in a row in August but has been pretty underwhelming since. Drops in grade a touch, but is only an outsider’s chance in this small field at $7…

HIGHGROUND, ORNATE

Highground has come back in good order with a win and a second this prep. Wiggins jumps on this frontrunning gelding, and he’ll be hard to peg back as odds-on fav given his impressive T&D stats here. Ditto Ornate, despite her fifth of five, albeit close-up, at her last start here… Also drops in grade from that.

HA SHE
Kilmore, 2
She’s a fifteen race maiden who’s run plenty of placings and usually close up. Came back from over a year away in late December, needed the run, then ran a close fourth here two weeks back at $21. Fitter, and ready to run at least another placing here at $17.

ON MY PAT
Kilmore, 4
Watched him getting spruiked up and backed in last start here two weeks ago, finished fast for a very close second and marked him down as a next-timer. Will run fav on the back of that today, and up to the mile should suit him perfectly. $2.90 on offer.

OK on his day, but last three have been ordinary. Resumes after a 3 month spell at his fav distance in an open event at $10.

Finished strongly on debut to Honeycup in August before hopping up in grade to Listed company. We spruiked her up for a good return and he a superb ride saw her get up on the line from the back to edge out the hot fav, paying $3.80, Moves up in grade from the maiden win and is a genuine chance in this at $6.

Launceston, 9
A much improved run here last time, finishing strongly into second at $31 SP for us, paying $8.50 the place. Will be at $19 or more again today if you can stay awake till midnight…
