Four tips, three returns…
Four picks yesterday, and so close to 100% return…
Harry Coffey rode a beautiful race on Jet Jitsu (5 units ew), producing a rails run late on to surge to the front in the last 100 at $5.70/$1.90.
Earlier, Bifrost just failed to hold out the late finisher to run second, with out other tip Lunar Hero (4 units ew) leading all the way and hanging on for third at $2.20.
And Jaffastock just failed to hang on fr a place, running fourth and denying us some nice place multis…
A very busy Friday a month out from Christmas, with twelve from the book today, and some good odds on offer…

MOIRAS TOWN, TELLING TALES

This is a head scratcher… Moira’s Town won three in a row for us this time last year, but has since finished last or next to last in seven subsequent runs, yet here she’s being spruiked as the $6 fav! Never run on the course, though has had some success over this distance. Something’s going on, keep an eye on her, but tend to think she’s win or nowhere… Telling Tales has been ordinary too since his win at Oamaru in June, yet he’s here at the $7 too. Big field and lots of possibilities here…
BET: Can back both of these 3 units ew, if you can sort the exotics out there’s money to be made!!

Cromwell, 7
Drops in grade, and weight, from the Breeders Stakes two weeks back where she finished fourth to Belclare, back to fav distance and stats are great for this, fav at $3.40

On the quick back-up, down in grade but needs to improve at $26

DESTINATION
Canterbury, 7
Won for us here two weeks ago at $9, hops up in grade but still rates a chance at $5.50 second fav as Schiller sticks.

SOCIAL CONSCIENCE
Cranbourne, 6
We spruiked this lad up on his return just 11 days ago, and he duly bowled in by 3 lengths to break maidens. Now he’s got the idea he should figure in this at $5.50, Stockdale stays onboard.

Cranbourne, 7
She was also spruiked on debut at Caulfield and won nicely enough at $6.50, leading all the way. Been waiting for a run recently and finally returns here as odds-on fav, should be too good for this lot… $1.65, but better than the bank!

The great finish to win at Moruya in August hasn’t been repeated, will need to lift to beat this odds-on fav. Has a good finish, $9 on offer…

On a very quick 5 days back-up, but the one win from 30 runs doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence. Outsider in a small field at $12, only positive is that Penza jumps onboard…

Another mare that’s been waiting for a run, and is second fav at $6.50 in this big field. Up to Open grade today, but did win three in a row for us early this year, in decent grades to, so rates a chance here…

Ran a better race three weeks back for third at Albury, and drops in grade for this, plus gets some weight relief. Not hopeless at generous $21…

Got up on resuming for us three weeks back here, winning jock sticks and she’ll run fav at $3.40 here, and natural progression from the run suggests she’ll win again…
