Lismore’s abandonment robbed us of two runner yesterday, but we got some nice returns from our four runners with wins from Romania (5 units ew) $5.80/$2.30, Boldinho (8 unit win) murdering them by 4 lengths, and a very late surge saw Kew Player come from dead last to get within a length of the winner at very juicy place odds of $5.70, and a close watch on him next time out…

Clemenceau will run close to even money fav, and deservedly so, has won here and JmAc hops on again, hard to beat. PR is honest, with three nicely priced places for us this prep, can do it again at $6. EF is back after a five month spell, may need this but worth a place.

Form this prep doesn’t read so well, but he’s a quality conveyance at best and D Lane sticks. He’ll need to be a bit closer to the pace, but an ew chance nevertheless at $11…

Asfoora is a bit special, and gave ‘em a spanking last time out, no reason she do it again at even money. Galenus ran second to give us the quinella and is capable of filling a place again at $10.

This looks to be between the two favs, but DI is our lad, and Waller can produce them at the right time. $3.40 on offer, and he can win this.

Focus is ultra-consistent this prep, jumps in grade but capable of seeing these off as $2.70 fav. BT will be descending late, and rates an chance at $4.

Sunshine Coast Turf Club, 7
He pinged home twice for us, once at huge odds ($73) but not much since. Has been running at various distances but gets back to his best today, and back in grade, he rates a chance at $7.50

He’s back on the mainland after a stint in Tazzy, his last two as winner. Chance on that form at $4.80/$1.80 in a tight event.
