An eleven start maiden, she’s been unusually handy in the run last three attempts, hitting the lead late but unable to hang on. The drop to 1400m might just be what she needs with this racing pattern, and I’d rate her a good EW shot in this at $16.

We’ve been on his case since a good run back in July. Hasn’t been too far off the winner in his last couple, running second at Tauranga two weeks back. Regular jock Lynsey Satherley sticks, and he’ll run second fav at $6 to a hotpot odds-on fav here.

Feel that she’s a bit better than the formline reads, needed the first-up run over a too-short distance, back up to 2000m now and has good second-up stats. The sleeper in this at $16…

WHO’S SAM, VISTOWN

WS Noted bolting home by over 7 lengths at Avondale in July, followed by a close second a month later here before not seeing out the mile at Te Rapa. Resumes after 3 month spell, back to 1400m and Sam Spratt jumps onboard, threat at $4/$1.70. Vistown was tracking well earlier in the year but hasn’t pushed on after clearing maidens. Had a couple of breaks and resumes today under Jasmine Fawcett, who’s 3:1-1 on the mare, $14 on offer.

Got up nicely for us at Coonamble a month back at a juicy $15 and winning jock sticks. Had previously won at $17 for us in June. Up a touch in class here, but no reason she won’t be on the scene again at $18…

KE bolted in a big odds early last month, but has done little in two subsequent runs. WR hasn’t offered much either in some time.

We spruiked her top win down in grade last time out, and she duly obliged. Back up a touch today, and is $3.70 second fav in a small field.

SKIPPING GIRL
Yarra Valley, 5
Has been mainly holding her form since she won by nearly 10 lengths at Mt Gambier back on September. Prefers some give in the ground, her only fail this prep was on good, so the wetter the better… $7.50 at the mo in an open betting race.

Has been edging closer to a win this prep and has won here previously T&D. EW shot at $9.
