A busy Boxing Day schedule of racing both here and in Aus means plenty to punt on today, and we have a huge selection of tips from the book today, so I’m posting the NZ tips now as we start earlier, should be available in 15 minutes. The Aussie tips will follow within the hour.
SUNSHINE COAST
Race 8: Should be worth the wait for LOLAROSIE, who gave em spanking on 23 Nov (see below) over 1250m at Ballina. Trainer spruiked her up, and did indicate that 1400m would be her tops. She ran over that distance next up at Gold Coast, and ran out of puff late, so back to 1300m today looks the trick. If you get on now, you’ll get ew odds.
BET: 5 units ew, if she shortens, 10 unit win, must go in exotics
NARACOORTE
Race 1: ATOMIC WIZARD has a fine record here (6:3-2), and after needing the resuming run at Penola, looks a chance in this open betting race. Tourneur jumps on.
BET: 5 unit win
STONY CREEK
Race 3: A little research reveals Maher & Eustace making the trip here with just the two with Michael Poy onboard, and I see no reason not to follow them… BEAUTOX resumes after three seconds in four races, one presumes they’ll have the on-pacer ready to go, and she should be hard to run down…
BET: 6 unit win
Race 6: The other one is MISS TENTHOUSAND, and now she’s back on the winning trail after stepping up in distance, the same combination should be able to put these away.
BET: 8 unit win
