But Tigertiger, what a ride from the young apprentice, last all the way and produced a withering burst to get up by a long neck! Saved my day at least!!

MATAMATA
Race 7: AQUAOIR was spruiked up and duly screamed home at Hastings two weeks back, coming from near last to win by 2.3 lengths. Up in grade, but any reproduction of that should see her get home in this as fave, I’d take a price early. Got the stats and Cameron sticks. PACIFIC MASTER is hard to catch, tidy horse on his day and has run some places at nice odds for us, and that’s probably the best we can expect today at around $14. Could spice up the exotics.

Race 8: RUM got recommended to me via connections last time out, sprang out to lead but faded badly to finish well back, so it’s hard to see how the step up to 2000m will benefit him today. Drops in grade, and maybe they’ll ride him under a different race pattern today… $14 on offer, give him another chance…

WANGARATTA
Race 5: REAL GUN put two or three good runs together Sept/Oct, failed at MV, then wasn’t too far away last time out but didn’t get the 1400m. Back to his favoured distance today will see him more competitive, but he’ll need to be at his best to get past the smart OTELO, who’s in good form at the mo.
BET: 3 units ew RG, 10 quinella with Otelo.
Race 6: NUMPTY has been a bit ordinary since getting blocked out at Pakenham back in June. Won on debut when backed in. Second up today and worth a place at odds.
