Well, what a day we had yesterday… talk about a game of two halves…
Couldn’t back a winner until the very last race at Riccy, where we had two from the book lining up in Belluta and Infernape, both sitting around the $18 mark. Belluta had produced a stunning late run two back over the mile to win, than failed over 1400m. We fancied her to feature late again back up to the mile, and boy, did she oblige!
Despite a betting drift, she scorched home at an amazing $34.90, plus we recommended exotics, and managed to snag a share of the $13,146 trifecta for a $3.5K pick-up on the race!!
Our only other blackbooker was The Years in the last at Canterbury, and he produced a gritty finish to get up at $2.90 for us!

LC resumes from a 10 month lay-off and has placed twice first-up. Guessing he’s gonna need this as reflected in his $27 odds…
