Back with a bang Mark II
Another superb winner yesterday, and one to follow we think…
Oak Hill (10 unit win) was impressive last month, blitzing home at $12 for us, and he repeated the dose to a “T” is he burst through the middle to win with something in hand under D Lane when backed into $2.10 and confirming that he was gonna be hard to beat. Definitely a horse going places…
The other one we though was a shoo-in, Jaykayann, flopped out the back as usual, and we were waiting for the steam home, but it all came too late, maybe that firm ground was the culprit, and certainly not discarded.
Former Kiwi Cassiere (5 units ew) ran a spirited second on her Aussie debut after one run for one win in NZ before turning out for Tony Gollan yesterday, paying $1.40. Well-beaten by the hotpot fav, but a deffo next-time tag for her!
We suggested keeping the resuming Amati safe (4 units ew) as JMac stuck for Waller. Rarely far off, she got up for third at a juicy $4.90 the place, gets the tag, will be fitter next time!

Finally gets back on his fav heavy track after two placings over hurdles. Has been more prominent these last two, so the drop to 1800m could work. Tremendous T&D stats here as a local, worth another EW punt here at $10, especially back on heavy.

WYO has huge on resuming 36 days ago at the Bool when sent out a big odds and shot home for second earning a next-time sticker and here he is. Fred sticks, $3.30 fav, get onboard!
Infringement is an interesting runner, former Kiwi who raced just five times over here, well-supported each time, noted on his last run at Tauranga in October getting way to far back, tailed off last and game home with a wet sail to run a close second. Popped up in Aus after a 165 day spell, and though needing the run, ran a decent second. Expected him to push on from there next time out but suspect the mile was too much, so much better placed here back to the 1400m. Stackhouse hops on, fitter now and rates an excellent EW shot at $7.

Been a while but he finally notched up another win at Bowen 5 days ago. Effective in this class and this T&D and looks set to feature here at $7.

Lot of chopping and changing stable-wise for this lad since he broke maidens in November with an eye-catching dominant win. Resumes from a six month break and back in grade somewhat from his last race, has run a couple of trials without busting a gut, but they’ve got him as $3.70 close second fav, so some confidence there…

Liked his resuming run in Feb at Newcastle and he burst home from the back at Muswellbrook three weeks later to just miss the frame, so we really liked him at fav track Canberra in March but he jumped out last and stayed there. Resumes after 69 days here, does tend to get back, so a little suspect over the 1100m today, and not a great win strike rate (29:2-10). Again, well=supported as $3.60 fav but a little cautious…

Screamed home down the fence in Townsville late Feb so the push out to the 1400m looked fine two weeks later, but he just couldn’t see it out, running third. Back to then 1300m did the trick three weeks later. Resumes from a break since then, will wanna see him out a bit sharper over the shorter 1100m, and up in grade, but Butler know the horse (4:3-1) and stats say he’s an easy EW bet in this at $6.50.
