A winner and two placings…
What a gritty win from our best bet in Casino Princess yesterday, (10 unit win). She sat just behind the pace, and the move back up to the mile suited as we suggested and she toughed it out right to the line, paying a nice $2.40…
Eye Pea Oh (5 units ew) once again settled well back and bolted home for third at $1.80, there’s a win coming for sure.
Well, we had Matawai down as a 10 unit win investment, but were a little disappointed with Shinn’s ride as he left it too late to get going on her, and she ran fourth in a blanket finish. She’ll win again though…

His first four runs this prep after changing stables saw him lead then fall away late. Back in grade and back in distance 9 days ago, and he didn’t get his usual flying start and he just couldn’t pick them up. Back to the C1 today, J Stanley is a nice booking up top and we rate him a good EW bet at $21 if he jumps well…

Early career form was promising but has obviously had some issues. Returned from a 434 day lay-off with a decent fifth but then ran next to last a month ago at Townsville, before a strong second same track and day as Terminus under Chelsea Jokic, who sticks today. Another nice EW shot at $6.50 now he’s got the idea…

Very consistent with a good finish, but hasn’t done that in his last two runs this prep, expecting the extra 100m to assist today and Ashley Butler has great stats up top (7:4-1). Dual acceptor, another strong EW shot at $5.50.
