Jaykayann left her run far too late yesterday, steaming home from near last to run about sixth, if she’d settled midfield she would have close to winning. Still on our radar though…

Resumed from a 4 month spell here in March, where he steamed home late only to get nicked on the line. That will have done him the world of good, and though up in grade, we fancied he could push on two weeks later at Tuncurry, but he never emerged from the pack. A Bullock was back onboard, 39 days ago at Port Macquarie where he ran close to the pace and ran a close third. Yet to win on heavy but placed 3 of 4 on that surface, up in grade here but rates a decent EW punt at $5.

Resumed here 12 days ago over too short a distance and didn’t emerge at all, does tend to get back so out to 1560m will help but probably needs further. Won three out of four this time last year, has form at the track and this grade and is 7:2-2 second-up, so don’t dismiss him entirely at $35.
