Well, well, well, another big winner yesterday in Rita May (2 units ew, exotics) with a well-timed run to get up right on the line paying $15.20/$4.30. If you chanced your arm on the trifecta, it paid almost 2 grand, though we were expecting Lady Brook to feature in this, but she was a late scratching…
Still, a very nice pick up!

Won his first two, the second with a brilliant driving finish from the back, and both on heavy going, which he gets here today, and that may be the key. Usually thereabouts, though did nothing on resumption at Kembla 12 days ago, after a short break, but he’s 3:1-1 second up, good T&D stats, so don’t dismiss him must yet… He’ll have needed that run, and with Regan Bayliss up top, he’s a sleeper at $26…

She’s been in the book for around 18 months, but still a maiden after 19 runs. Ran a better race (4th) when tried first time on the heavy at Echuca last time out, and that might be a pointer on the soft going here today. $10 on offer.

Dual acceptor today, but they elected to run him here as Ipswich has been abandoned early. Noted running away from them when breaking maidens at Lismore in August and has been very close since, winning another before heading off to the paddock for four months. Has won first up and presents as $3.40 second fav in this small field, can win.
