One promising second and a fourth…
A second and a fourth yesterday, with Baltic Coast (4 units ew) flying home for second at $1.90 as is his style, here’s nearing a win we feel.
Big effort from Magnetic Prince, resuming at massive odds, very much on pace when resuming from a 209 day break. Looked like the winner for a long way but was still strong to the line to run a close fourth, deffo a next-timer when he’ll be much fitter!
Just the four today, but one backing up from the Bool on Tuesday goes round again in the Cup there this afternoon, at $26, and based on that is very much a live chance!

Finally found some early career form in October, getting up under Kah at $11, then followed up with a bit of a plain sixth at Kyneton. Resumes from a 176 day spell, has placed this grade, distance and going, and placed twice first-up. $5 shot in a small field, might need the run but worth a small win bet…

The top two favs will be hard to roll here, but Rolls won here on Tuesday and won this race last year, he’s 8:3-4 on this track. Has to run another 650m today but that form should make him an easy EW bet. Little Mix ticks a few boxes as well, and gets B Shinn up top, and looks sure the feature.
But the one we like for value is Rudhyar, who resumed 12 days ago from a 591 day stretch in the paddock as a $67 shot, running on late for seventh behind Sea What I See, not a bad effort under the circumstances… Down in grade and up to this distance on Tuesday, he stuck on well to finish three lengths off Vivideel and he’ll only be fitter for that. Up in grade for sure, but include him in your exotics at $35…

Went in the book in October via an astonishing win from dead last after dropping out early as fav. Bolted home late to win by 3 lengths and has won and placed twice for us again since. Resumed with a third at Wagga eight weeks ago then ran a couple of sixths since at big odds. Backed up quickly 11 days ago for a close fourth and drops back in grade here, loves the track, watch for him late as a $9 shot in a fairly open betting race.

One place in 16 runs and he’s just not getting himself in contention… Needs to jump better, but he’s getting whacked by big margins. $34 here.
