Three placings yesterday as we suggested was the case…
Magnetic Prince (5 units ew) ran second at $2.60, with Bullet Wing (5 units ew, $3.10) and More Sugar (5 units ew, $2.60) running thirds, plus Ramones as close fourth.

Spruiked up in April when running third and has run three further placings since. Course/AWT placed, and she’s a solid EW chance as $5 second fav.

Ballina, 7
Back from a 4 month spell, has placed several times first up, won at this T&D and this is her fav distance. EW shot at $11.

Bolted in by 8 lengths in Feb. Back in trip resuming after 4 months, has won on heavy and Fry sticks. Frontrunner, so hopefully the shorter 1500m should suit, but may need the run… $17 shot.

Kilcoy, 3
Run 133 for the old mare, and with those numbers, she’s bound to have stats at most levels, but surprisingly this is her first run at this track. Last win was 11 months ago and the winning jockey jumps back on for the first time since then. $41 shot here.

Generally gets back and capable of a good finish, so the extra distance might suit, but it’s an interest bet only at $19.
