Five from seven…

Five places from our seven tips yesterday, and some good dividends:

Cool Lad ($5.20), Buoyantsea ($4.80), Handshake ($1.70), Wango Award ($1.40) and Stokedown ($1.30).

We jammed them into a nice place multi which paid around 80-1…

Seven more from the book, and a few more EW chances…

Another seven for Thursday…

RED HAWK, BOLD RESPONSE

Moe, 7

After a very disjointed recent racing career, RH fronted up with some good support in early July, earning a next-time status with a big finish from the back. We spruiked him up four weeks later and he duly obliged under J Mott, leading all the way for the win. The drop back in distance won’t be an issue, though he would prefer some give in the ground. Backable EW at $4.20/$1.85.

BR noted bolting in a month ago to make it a hatrick at Geelong before stepping up to BM64, getting up on the pace, but fading to finish last. Not sure where that leaves him in this, but surely can improve as a $15 shot here on the 7 day back-up.

BET: RH 5 units ew, BR 3 units ew, exotics

SACRED KIWI

Moe, 9

In good form for us prior to the run at Caulfield just 5 days ago at the BM70 level, drops back to BM68 today, also a quick back-up, and rates a chance as a $4.20 second fav.

BET: 5 units ew

SAPPHIRES SON, LEGAL CHALLENGE

Wyong, 4

SS pulled one out of the bag a month back with a class record at Quirindi but was plain 9 days back at Dubbo. Can do better as $19 shot. LC only has two wins and has been going round at big odds with out threatening. Back in grade but needs to lift, $23 on offer.

BET: Both 3 units ew, could spice up the exotics…

TIDAL IMPACT

Wyong, 7

Throws in the odd good run, and returns from the paddock after 5 months. Has first-up form but is hard to catch, $8 shot here.

BET: 3 units ew

SCENIC RIM

Kilcoy, 5

Another hard one to catch, spaces his wins out a bit, frontrunner who’ll need to be cuddled along a bit, $10 on offer…

BET: 3 units ew
