100%!
Emerging star Sunshineinmypocket (10 unit win, $1.60)) gave them a lesson yesterday, sitting just off the pace before booming home with some style to make it three from three. One to watch going forward…
Our other three all ran fourth, so a 100% return, bearing in mind that you can back horses on the NZTAB for fourth, with Sunchyme, More Likely and Mombasa all firing late…
They’ll definitely be a threat if they can land in more forward positions, and we’ll be keeping an eye on all three next time out…
Six as we head towards Easter weekend, be careful, three in the same race…
Six of the Best!
I NEVER DREAMED
Pakenham, 4
She was spruiked and backed on debut and bolted home at October at very short odds. Followed up at Pak with a close fifth, before heading to the paddock, and resumed at MV 20 days ago in a BM70, running a close fourth behind another of ours, the impressive Girl. She’ll take great benefit from that run and looks awfully hard to beat in this as $2.60 fav with Ms Gaudray up top…
BET: 10 unit win. Tempted to anchor her in both qadis, just for fun…
AUF WEIDERSEHEN
Pakenham, 7
Went in the book with his last win almost two years ago, but he does tend to mix ‘em up a bit… He’s been going round between 1400m and 2580m, and faded out when resuming here 13 days ago. Guess that’s why he’s $151 here, would prefer more rain, interest bet at those odds…

NARITO, BACKWATER TRADER, KING OF THE BOUNTY
Wagga, 3
Tricky one, with three involved at $5.50, $6 and $11…
Narito is back in grade after resuming at Canberra 8 days ago, yet to place in five goes at this distance, needs rain.
BT was a good thing beaten in August, flying home when caught in traffic, not far off next two before heading to the paddock. Resumes after 157 days here, and is 3:2-0 first-up, likes the T&D…
KOB spruiked up and won at Swan Hill in October, next two were plain up in grade, resumes and has decent first-up and distance stats, jockey goes well onboard.
BET: Three tips, small field, best work your way around the exotics…
SCENIC RIM
Toowoomba, 7
He finished last prep with two wins and a third for us, a real improvement on previous form. Won a trial last month, and resumed from a 3 month break at Warwick at the 1200m. Didn’t employ his usual front-running style, but caught the eye with a fast-finishing fourth, suggesting he’ll be ready for the 1300m here. Good T&Ds, like Emily Lang onboard, he can figure in this at value $9 odds…
