73% and an amazing winner!!
One amazing winner, three seconds, two thirds and two fourths giving us a return dividend strike rate of almost 73%!!
Mr Verse was slow out of the gates, in the back two all the way, and 400m out, the commentator had him 20 lengths off the lead. He unleashed his run from the final bend, and in Winx-esque style, he rounded up one of our other runners in Butternut Princess to get up right on the line!
Four for Thursday, all real prospects, worth a multi, have a go at the Wagga late qadi!!
Thursday’s Fantastic Four…
Ten Carat Lucy
Rockhampton R2
4:04pm
Well-supported on debut and didn’t let punters down with an eye-catching win. Huxtable a nice booking up top, hard to see her beaten in this as $1.45 fav.
BET: 10 unit win
Dreamstone
Wagga R5
5:35pm
Resumed from a six month break earlier this month, had won first-up and dropped hugely in grade for her return and had won in higher grades. Dropped to the mile but needed the run, does tend to take a couple of runs to come to hand but worth keeping safe in this at $13. Jockey A O’driscoll is 5:3-0-0 up top.
BET: 4 units ew
Gold Tracker
Wagga R6
6:10pm
Same jockey features here as he resumes from a four month plus break. Might need the run but has place two from four first-up and has placed on heavy. Another to keep safe, also at $13… watch late…

Canny Hell
Wagga R7
6:45pm
Yet another resuming from a four month break, and has warmed up for this with a nice trial second. He’s 3:2-0-0 first-up and been racing in better than this. Super all-round stats, hard to beat, and $3.20 looks generous…
