BEB was noted a month ago powering home to win after looking as if she was struggling at the final bend to win by four lengths, that was off the back of a nice second when resuming. Fancied her to go on with it 16 days ago at Gosford but she got herself tied up an raced wide. Looks hard to beat out to 1800m from the better draw, $2.35 fav.

Shuri has improved in each run this prep, dropping back to this grade a week a go and only two lengths off the winner. Can feature, EW at $7.50.

Very nice debut win in July, well-supported in the market and showed a nice turn of foot to win by three lengths. Trialled up with a second then ran a close third at Gosford 16 days ago. Has to step up a little for this, but she’s a mice type and expect her to be in the finish, $6.50 on offer…
