A series of struck posts and poor rides saw us get three seconds, a third and a fourth out of our Hump Day selections…
Luna Cat ($2.10), Luxuriant ($1.00), Fire Love ($2.30), Ramones ($1.80) and Ellen’s Licence provided scant reward for our efforts.

Featured as a one-hit wonder for us just 10 days ago, where he ran a fast-finishing fourth at Echuca. Up in distance has been the answer for him. Won’t mind the soft going either. Has some T&D history here and could be the value runner at $16 in a very open betting field. Watch for him late…

Back to his fav distance here, and has been consistent without really threatening this prep. EW chance at $26.

STORM DE LUNE
Kembla Grange, 5
Went in the book almost two years ago with a stout finish, then won at Moe. Not a lot to encourage us to get onboard, though his win was second up, as he is today, as the $51 outsider in this. Curiously, he gets G Buckley up top, but short of him picking this lad up and carrying him over the line, it’s hard to see him steering the gelding home for a win. Interest bet.
