A nice winner and a close second…

We were very keen on the chances of Getafix yesterday, having previously run in G1, G2 and G3 company, and the drop back to Bm72 grade was a real indicator that he was worth following. Backed into $3 fav, we were looking to JMac to settle him closer in the run, and that’s exactly what he did, perched on the fence in fourth before sprinting home impressively to win with a leg in the air after being heavily supported into $3. Will be worth following now he’s found his mojo…

I Am Velvet found one too smart after looking the winner 100m out, she too found good support and will be worth watching next time out…

Just the two today, one a fancied fav, the other a roughie’s chance…
