Pride of place must go to Allegiance (2 units ew) in the last at Ascot, we’ve waited a long time for this one, and he just took off and gave ‘em a spanking at a glorious $16.30/$4.40!
Esprit Garcon (10 unit win) did it the other way round, lounging around at the rear before unleashing a superb finish to win with a leg in the air at $1.70, keep an eye on him, he’s a bit special…
And Luna Cat (5 units ew) got home under Celine Gaudray to make it 2 from 2, paying a nice $5.40/$1.70.
Places for Brancaster Bomber (5 units ew, $1.70), It’s My Turn (4 units ew, $.500!), Twice On Sunday (5 units ew, $1.50), Effortkat (5 units ew, $1.60) and Lord Darci running fourth.

The promising debut run was followed by an ordinary one at Wanganui, but his run at Trentham 12 days ago was better under Chris Dell. Will probably find the softer track more to his liking, he’s goes round as the $4.40 second fav, EW all day in this easier event…

Form this prep doesn’t look convincing but the last one 21 days ago was better over the longer distance. She, too, will appreciate the softer track, presents here as the $4 fav, EW again as she looks to improve.
