Our best bet Butternut Princess got absolutely slaughtered yesterday, well-supported, travelling nicely in third before getting trapped after not barging through when the gap was there, finishing next to last, a good thing beaten for sure…

Pretty sure no-one is tipping this lad, beaten by an accumulative total of nearly 50 lengths in three runs this prep. Bit of a puzzle, as previous form was solid, he likes the track (7:3-0-2), the distance (6:1-1-0), 1:1 T&D and overall figures of 32-5-5-5, so he’s no duffer… Can only assume some issues with him, but keeping him safe at $101…
