Nice winner provides qadi anchor…
Our Caulfield tips were all around the mark yesterday.
Shock ‘Em Ova (10 unit win) rewarded our confidence with a $2.60 win, anchoring us to a 50% share of the $1600 qadi.
Ersa (5 units ew, $2.20) and Insulation ($1.20) ran close seconds with Gregolimo running third at $1.60.
Seven from the book today, and some nice odds on offer, as usual with PG…

Her form has gone right down the pan recently, last win came almost a year ago. Open betting race, small field, has had success at this distance but will need to improve. $8 on offer.

Better run last time out back at the BM65, goes in any ground and is 3 from 5 at this distance, should be in the finish as the $5 fav in a big field, and can wrap up the meeting for us nicely…

CG has won 4 from her last 5 in the past two month, last two out in the country, but still rates a very good EW prop at $11, with winning jock Erin Molloy sticking. We thought the 1300m might be a touch on the sharp side for the resuming Brazen Breccia but he tried to lead all the way and ran a creditable third, also under Molloy. Not sure if the apprentices get to pick and choose their mounts but she’s on CG again today, with BB a $18 shot, who has a nice second-up record.
BET: Some good animals in this, but can back our two 3 units ew and deffo include in exotics…

Noted with a huge finish from last to first in Feb, followed it up 11 days later with a win at Quirindi and finished the prep with another win for us at Narromine. We spruiked him as a good EW shot on resumption and he hurtled home from last to run a very close third. He’s 2:2 second up, won twice at this distance, likes the firmer track and will appreciate the slight drop in grade. All over him at $4.60 in this…

MI is on a quick 7 day back-up, drove home late to run third then and will appreciate the stretch out to 2200m here, $6.50 in this small field. Allegiance just OK without threatening, nearly a year since she won her maiden, hard t see here adding to that lone win today at $17.
