Real Gun rewards us…
Just the three yesterday, and it’s nice when we track one and it rewards us!
Real Gun (5 units ew) has been on our radar this prep, had three very bold placings, and we were very keen on him yesterday. He quickly got to the front, and while the post came just in time, it was a superb effort as he held on for the grittiest of wins after being backed in from $5 to a $2.80 fav – hope you got on early!!
Incessant looked the winner 200 out as he loomed up from the back to seemingly take control, but the leader found again near the line, and he remains firmly on our watch list, with a win not far away…
Eleven today as we hit a rare midweek featuring Caulfield, and we have tips in five of those races for you, plus a couple on the 11 race card at Tauranga… we’ll be punting at the qadis today using these tips…

Up to the 2100m today and gets Kennedy up top. Tuned up with a small trial win last week and looks a decent EW prospect at $5 in an open betting event.

Backmarker who finished fast to pay us a $7 place dividend last time out under Lynsey, capable of repeating at least that effort as she sticks up top, $6.50 in another open race…

After the 9 length demolition job at Ballarat 16 days ago, you’d think this filly is bound for better things… Backed into $1.33, she simply ran away from them. Harder now of course, but we’re sticking, $4.60 second fav.

GREGOLIMO
Caulfield, 2
Well-considered French import who got himself into all kinds of trouble on Aussie debut 24 days ago, eventually getting out and running second to Muramasa and getting the next-time flag. Ms Kah hops onboard, no mistake today in our opinion, $3.10 fav.
BET: 10 unit win
INSULATION, DUKE OF HASTINGS
Caulfield, 4
Insulation hard to ignore here, up in grade but in fine form, just failed to catch the winner at HQ three weeks ago. $1.85 fav, gets the talented Ms Hefel up top, hard to beat. DOH has struck some decent form this prep, second fav at $6.
BET: Insulation 10 unit win, DOH 3 units ew. Quinella.
SHOCK ‘EM OVA
Caulfield, 5
Astonishing burst 25 days ago to win here as even money fav. Up in grade of course, and up to the 2000m, but I wouldn’t back against him. $2.30 fav.
BET: 10 unit win
FETCH, LUNA CAT
Caulfield, 6
We’ve two shots in this, both around the $11 mark. Fetch maybe has a little more upside, tremendously consistent, the 1100m will suit better than the dash at MV 19 days ago and D Lane sticks. LC got up for us a month back at $9.50, another consistent animal, and she’s be descending late too…
BET: Fav looks tough to beat, but these two capable of surprising. Back both 5 units ew, and include with fav in exotics.
MARKWELL DREAMER
Randwick, 7
He’s been right around the mark this prep, less than a length away in all three runs, watch fr=or him late again here as a $9.50 shot.

A race in three, but DN knocking on the door and down in class rates here. $4.40/$1.90 makes her backable EW all day…
