Two scratchings reduced us to six yesterday, good new is that you can go buy back the house and retain the 30% profit as Esprit Garcon got up in a thrilling three-way finish paying $1.30.
Brazen Breccia (5 units ew) was unusually not on pace this time, which probably cost him the win as he fired home late but unable to catch the hotpot fav, paying $2.20 the place.
And Focus (2 units ew) defied a lack of first up form to run a decent third at $2.50.
Five from the book today, and we’re very keen on the runner who won for us last time out at $61!!

We spruiked her up on her return at Kurow 19 days ago after a 649 day spell away, getting back early but flying home to win for us at $61! Down in the weights, so we have to follow her again as a $6.50 shot!

Much better effort for second 21 days ago and ran a close third in a trial since. Our old mate from Tuesday Aaron Bullock jumps onboard and she has a tidy second-up record, $3.80 in a small field, $1.85 for second.

Dropped away at bit sharpish at Eagle Farm 15 days ago after two good fourths previously. Back to the provincials, up in distance, down in weight and Loy sticks, worth another chance at $7 here.
