Big day!

Great returns from our Midweek Nine, with a couple of Hall of Fame winners in Penvose Lad ($10) and Dillinger ($13.70).

These were backed up with two seconds in Infernape and Symphony of Colour and two thirds in Livalittle and Bullet Wing, giving us a 66% dividend return rate!

Nine again today, with some nice prospects and some real roughies!

We do like a bit of HK form, and AHD has been a revelation since resuming from a huge 1272 day break in December with a nice second before winning his next three, all races as favourite. Up in grade and distance 14 days ago this T&D, a tough test for a frontrunner, but he ran a very close third behind today’s fav and the slight pull in the weights means he’s right in this open betting race at $6.50.

Junebug won her first two of this prep but did noting a month ago at Sandown. Down in grade and up in distance but loses Jye for the apprentice, EW at $4.60.

Back from a lengthy 250 day spell, he’d been close up most of his last prep without winning and this looks a touch short for him plus not a lot in first-up form. $11 shot.

Won nicely enough four back but hasn’t followed that up. Has a T&D win here but not sure why she’s $2 fav in this… Needs to lift.

Very consistent and has produced two fast finishes from the back in her two runs this time in. The stretch out to 1400m looks ideal, D Stackhouse a nice booking, think she gets home in this, $2.60 second fav.
