Two winners, a second, two thirds and a fourth yesterday from the midweeks…

Nice winners in Ndola ($5.70) with Sunshineinmypocket running third ($1.40).

Same scenario at Doomben where Caspernova finally gave us some reward for our patience, winning at $2.40, with Fortuneer running third at $2.10.

Adranos is knocking on the door, with yet another placing at $2.60. He managed to get past the hotpot fav but was done on the line by an outsider… A win is coming for sure…

Resumes after finishing eleventh in April, and just not sure she’s suited by the softer tracks. Impressive at her first try over the 2500m at Sandown in March then ran a close second at Morks in April. Trialled twice, down in grade and distance, may need this and the firmer ground, but worth keeping safe at $9.

Lightly-raced, was backed from $30 to $3 on winning debut before three placings. Just the one run last prep, and we were also confident that he would go well, and he got home in some style at a juicy $8.90. Resumed at Kembla 19 days a go when a touch flat but we think he’ll relish the step up to the 1300m here and well worth an EW punt as $6.50 second fav and happy to be on him.
