Two thirds yesterday without breaking any records, with More Than Words using her nice T&D stats to pay $2.30, and former Kiwi Infringement with an improved run back up to the mile, paying $1.30. Both have their eyes on an imminent win, so next-time flags for them…

Resumes from a 211 day spell prior to which she’d been in good form in higher grades. Good first-up and distance stats, first time on the synthetic but gets the in-form DRT up top, and certainly rates a chance in this small field, even as the $19 outsider.

Going OK without winning but will need to be closer to the pace today back to 1100m though she does possess a decent finish. Untried on heavy, may be what she’s waiting for, $8.50 on offer…

Screamed home down the fence here late Feb so the push out to the 1400m looked fine two weeks later, but he just couldn’t see it out, running third, also here. Back to 1300m in April, again here, and that did the track, screaming home from dead last to get up under his fav jockey, who sticks today. Massively good stats all round, the T&Ds alone say get onboard at $4, even with the rise in grade…

Spacing those wins out somewhat but has performed well on the track. Jockey is 7:0-5 up top, not sure where he’ll land in the run but rates an EW shot at $31.
