A second, third and fourth yesterday…

Handshake just got too far back, but still ran second at $1.70 to get us the quinella, a small gain at $1.90.

Eye Pee Oh s(3 units ew) screamed home on resuming, we thought she’d need the run and just came up short in third, but still paid a superb $6 the place.

Joltin’ Joe also flashed home late, just missing the frame…

Just the two today, both excellent chances!

Went into the book early Sept when she sat back at Benalla as the hot fav before cruising up under Billy Egan and ran away from them to notch an impressive win and clear maidens. Drifting co-fav last time out at this level and left her run a touch too late to run second. Billy sticks, same grade, and up to the 1860m suits, live EW shot in a very open betting race at $6.50.

The win two back at this T&D was impressive, following on from two nice seconds, however the step up 19 days ago was a bridge too far and a few hundred metres too short. Back to her comfort zone, she’ll be flying home late, $3.90 on offer.
